My holiday nightmare.
I went to Poland three year ago and spent there two marvellous and unforgettable months of summer, but one night was the worst night in my life.
After some weeks of being there we decieded to take a hiking trip, because we all were very excited with three days full of adventures in Poland woods, living in a tent, walking up and down the hills, sitting around the fire place and talking, but we didn`t set out the same week.
In our trip everybody have heavy backpack with tent, water, sleeping-bag, food and other staffs, but it didn’t matter for us. Director one by one took us to place where we had to start our trip – somewhere in the woods of Poland, where was just woods, hills and fields.
In the first day we covered 17 kilometers and settled down near to a little lake, which was quite hard road with heavy bags, so in evening we just put our tents, had a supper, some talks around the fire place, and we went to sleep, but in the next morning, when I and girle with whom I was sleeping in my tent woke up, no one was in our campsite. We where alone somewhere in the Poland woods with no clue where to go!
At first we panicked, but after about an hour we started to think what should we do. Then we decided to serch for people, but firstly we packed our tent. I don’t remember how many kilometers we covered, but after 9 hours of walking we still were in the unknown Poland woods. We were scared to death. With every minute it was getting darker and finally we put our tent, ate the last what we had and tried to sleep, but we couldn’t.
Despite all it even started to rain and it turned into thunderstorm, which cleared up only after two hours. Somewhere between 3 pm and 4 pm we fell asleep, but our joy wasn’t long – around 5 pm I woke up because of that funny noise outside- it was a moose! That moment I just fell back in my tent and I couldn’t say anythin, because It was too much for me.
After about two hours I heard some noises again and this time I was scared to take a look outside, but I put together all my strengths and looked outside. We were extremely happy to see there our frightened teachers. My tent- mate said that our adventure was quite funny. I still disagree with her.
